Content Operations VA (Head VA Role)

Role Overview

We are looking for a high ownership Content Operations VA who can both produce content and run the daily system behind a growing online brand.

This is not a basic content VA role.

- Some of the content you will work with may include adult or NSFW material
- You must be comfortable editing, scheduling, and managing mature content in a professional manner

You will be responsible for:
- Creating and publishing daily short form content
- Managing posting schedules and quality
- Tracking performance and improving what works
- Owning day to day execution without constant instructions
- The goal of this role is to replace the founder in daily operations over time.

Working Hours
- Full time
- 35 to 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Some flexibility as long as daily outputs are completed

Pay
- AUD $8 per hour during the trial and training period
- Trial and training period is 4 weeks
- AUD $10 per hour after successful completion of training
- Paid fortnightly
- Performance based bonuses available after probation

Key Responsibilities
- Content Production
- Generate AI images and short videos using provided tools
- Edit Reels or TikToks in a native social style
- Write captions, hooks, and basic CTAs
- Maintain a rolling content backlog
- Ensure content matches brand tone and visual guidelines
- Publishing and Scheduling
- Post daily on Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms as assigned
- Schedule content using approved tools
- Ensure highest quality upload settings are always enabled
- Maintain a clean and consistent feed
- Content Strategy and Optimisation

- Track performance metrics such as views, saves, shares, and profile visits
- Identify what hooks, formats, and visuals perform best
- Suggest improvements and test new ideas weekly

Operations and Ownership
- Follow and improve SOPs
- Flag issues before they become problems
- Organise files and folders correctly
- Prepare a simple weekly report for the founder
- Eventually help onboard and train junior VAs

What Success Looks Like

After 30 days:
- Content is posted daily without reminders
- The content backlog is always full
- Weekly reports are delivered on time
- Fewer questions, more solutions

After 90 days:
- The founder is no longer involved in daily execution
- You confidently manage content and workflows
- You help hire or manage additional VAs if needed

Required Skills and Experience

Must have:
- Experience managing social media content or online projects
- Strong written English
- Confidence making decisions without waiting for instructions
- Experience using AI tools for content creation
- Basic understanding of Instagram and TikTok algorithms
- Strong organisation and time management skills

Nice to have:
- Video editing experience (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
- Experience working with SOPs
- Experience reporting on performance metrics
- Previous Head VA or Operations VA experience
