Operations Manager | Full-Time Remote | Lead Team & Hiring for Scaling Agency

Job Description:

---------- is a dynamic and fast-growing marketing agency focused on empowering local businesses. With our core visual team in place, we are now seeking a strategic and driven Operations Manager to become the right hand to the founder.

This is not an administrative role—it is a key leadership position with immense growth potential. You will be the operational engine of the company, ensuring our team excels, our projects run flawlessly, and our hiring scales efficiently. You will directly manage day-to-day operations so the founder can focus on high-level strategy and business growth.

Your Core Responsibilities:

Team & Project Management: Oversee the workflow of our visual team (designers, video editors). Implement and manage project management tools (Asana/Trello/ClickUp or any other platforms that works efficiently) to ensure all tasks are tracked and deadlines are met for our key launch goals.

Hiring & Onboarding Lead: Own the full hiring cycle for all future roles—from writing job posts and screening 50+ applicants to conducting first-round interviews. You will present only the top 2-3 vetted, exceptional candidates to the founder for a final interview.

Process & System Creation: Document and streamline our core workflows (content creation, client onboarding, hiring). Become the expert administrator for all our tools (Google Workspace, Canva Team, project management, password manager, etc).

Communication Hub: Manage the founder’s calendar, prioritize emails, and ensure clear communication flows between the founder and the team. Run daily/weekly check-ins to keep everyone aligned.

Strategic Support: Work directly with the founder to translate big-picture goals into actionable plans, identify bottlenecks, and drive operational efficiency as we scale.

Must-Have Requirements:

Proven Experience: 2-3+ years in an operations, project management, or executive support role, preferably in a marketing, agency, or startup environment.

Hiring Expertise: Demonstrable experience in screening candidates, conducting structured interviews, and managing a hiring pipeline. You must be an excellent judge of talent and character.

Tech & Tool Proficiency: High proficiency with Google Workspace, ClickUp/Asana/Trello, and Slack. Ability to quickly learn and administer new platforms (Canva, password managers, etc.).

Exceptional Communication: Flawless written and spoken English. You must be able to represent the company professionally and communicate clearly with both the team and candidates.

Proactive & Systematic Mindset: You don't wait for instructions. You anticipate needs, create order from chaos, and are obsessed with efficiency and clarity.

Leadership Vibe: You can manage workflows and diplomatically hold tea ---------- mbers accountable without direct authority, earning respect through competence and organization.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience in a marketing or creative agency.

Basic understanding of social media management, design, or video production workflows.

Experience with budgeting or financial tracking.
