Senior Google Ads Specialist (Lead Gen) — Full-Time, Exclusive (Remote)

PD Digital is hiring a Senior Google Ads Specialist to own and scale lead-generation campaigns across our client portfolio (with a strong focus on removals, storage, and local service businesses).

This is a full-time role working exclusively for PD Digital. We are not considering candidates who are running other client accounts, freelancing, or holding another full-time job alongside this role.

What you’ll be responsible for
Build, launch, and optimise Google Ads lead-gen campaigns (Search + Performance Max)
Structure campaigns for intent and scale (services, locations, job types, exclusions)
Own performance across key metrics: CPL, qualified lead rate, booked jobs (where available)
Implement and QA tracking:
GA4 + Google Tag Manager event setup and testing
Google Ads conversion actions (forms, calls, call assets)
UTM strategy and attribution hygiene
Troubleshooting tracking gaps and conversion integrity
Lead weekly reporting with clear insights and actions (not vanity metrics)
Maintain best practice account standards: naming, negatives, audience signals, asset hygiene, and testing plans

Must-have experience (non-negotiable)
4+ years managing Google Ads with strong lead-gen results
Deep understanding of Google Ads conversion tracking, attribution, and QA
Strong capability in GA4 + GTM (events, triggers, testing, DebugView)
Confident setting up call tracking (Google forwarding numbers and/or third-party tools like CallRail)
Strong Search fundamentals: match types, negatives, SQR workflows, Quality Score optimisation
Ability to explain decisions clearly and work to KPI targets

Nice-to-have (but not required)
Experience with CRM attribution and offline conversion imports (GCLID-based)
Zoho CRM familiarity (helpful, but we will support the Zoho side internally)
Experience in removals/storage/trades/local service campaigns

What success looks like (first 90 days)
Tracking is clean and verified across core accounts
Reduced wasted spend via SQR + negatives + structure refinements
Improved CPL and lead quality through controlled testing and optimisation
Clear weekly reporting and proactive action plans

Working arrangements
Full-time, remote
Exclusive to PD Digital (no other work/clients)
Work aligned with Australian business hours (preferred)
