Full-Time Video Editor for Musical Theatre & Performance (Long Term)

FULL TIME IN HOUSE VIDEO EDITOR

This role is for someone who wants to be part of a small, creative team doing meaningful work.

You’ll be working inside a growing vocal and musical theatre studio where live performance, craft, and care really matter. This is not gig work. It’s not project-based. It’s a full-time, long-term role for someone who wants ownership, stability, and a real contribution to a team.

WHAT THIS ROLE INCLUDES

Your core responsibility is video.

You’ll be editing together student performance showcases from multi-camera footage, creating individual performance videos that students are proud to share with family and keep long-term.

You’ll also:
• edit multi-camera vocal and musical theatre showcases into individual student videos
• create short trailers for our classes using existing photos and video footage
• cut together online trainings for our training library
• assist with video assets for new programs as they’re developed
• edit talking-head video for social media posts and ads
• contribute ideas and creative thinking to improve how our content looks and flows

This is an in-house creative role.

It is not a role where you sit alone repurposing and producing thousands of social media shorts in Hormozi style. You are part of the team. Your thinking matters. You bring a point of view and pride in your work.

HOW WE WORK AS A TEAM

Communication is relaxed, clear, and human.

Most tasks are assigned via Loom videos so you can see examples and hear priorities clearly. Written instructions are used where helpful, but you need to be confident following verbal direction and asking questions when something needs clarifying. Excellent written and spoken English is essential.

You’ll work closely with our operations lead for day-to-day coordination, and finished work comes to me the studio director for review and creative sign-off.

We don’t micromanage.
We don’t lead through pressure, fear criticism or intimidation.

We expect people to manage their work, communicate early, and take responsibility for outcomes.

We believe “clear is kind”. We communicate clearly and then trust you to ask clarifying questions and make work you’re proud of.

PRACTICAL DETAILS

• Salary: 35,000 PHP per month
• Paid monthly
• 13th month pay observed
• Salary reviewed annually

You’ll need access to professional video editing software and equipment capable of handling large video files. We’re open to discussing equipment upgrades over time for the right person.
