Job Title: Home Care Scheduler
Reports To: Home Care Manager / Clinical Director
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Work Hours: 3:00PM-11:00PM PST M-F
Location: Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and Spokane, Washington; USA

Job Summary:
The Home Care Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling in-home care services for clients while ensuring caregiver availability and compliance with care plans. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure quality service delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule caregivers based on client needs, preferences, and availability.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules in scheduling software.
Communicate schedule changes promptly to caregivers and clients.
Work closely with the care team to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Respond to emergency scheduling needs, such as last-minute cancellations or call-offs.
Track caregiver availability, certifications, and compliance with training/licensure requirements.
Maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and staff.
Document all scheduling-related communications and updates accurately.
Support onboarding and orientation of new caregivers with initial scheduling.
Participate in on-call rotation, if applicable.


Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
Prior experience in scheduling, preferably in home health or healthcare setting.
Proficient with medical terminology.
Proficient in scheduling software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

HIPAA Certified.


Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare documentation standards.
Experience using home care management systems.
