Family & Business Partner (Assistant to CEO)

Location: Remote (Based in Malaysia ideal)
Commitment: Guaranteed 20 Hours/Week (with room to grow)
Language: Excellent English (Mandarin or Malay is a wonderful bonus)

I am a CEO who thrives on big ideas, building businesses, and moving fast. I also live with ADHD, which means my brain is a high-performance engine that sometimes struggles with the "navigation system"—the small details, the follow-ups, and the administrative "friction" of daily life.

I am looking for a thoughtful, highly organized, and proactive partner based here in Malaysia to help me stay focused on what I do best. This isn't just about "doing tasks"; it’s about helping me create the space to be a great leader and a present family member.

The Role: How You’ll Make a Difference

1. Being My "Executive Function" (Communication) I want to ensure everyone who contacts me feels heard and respected. You will have access to my WhatsApp and Email to:

Filter the Noise: Help me identify the "Daily Key Emails" so I don't get overwhelmed.

Bridge the Gap: Draft and send timely responses so we hit a 24-hour reply goal for our partners and friends.

The Daily Compass: Provide a short, kind "Daily Brief" of what I need to focus on today.

2. Supporting My Family Life (Family Admin) My family is my priority, and I want our home to run smoothly. You will:

Home Coordination: Liaise with our housekeeper and repairmen to take the "scheduling" off my plate. Confirm billing and keep track of receipts for home improvement and maintenance.

Health & Harmony: Help with weekly meal planning and grocery coordination so we stay on track without the last-minute stress.

Family Messaging: Support my wife and me with scheduling and organization of our personal affairs, including calendar

3. Clearing the Path for Business (Admin Support) You will lead the management of non-core tasks so I can stay in "deep work" mode. This includes:

Outreach: Researching and booking podcast appearances or speaking engagements.

Events: Planning offsite meetings and team gatherings with a thoughtful touch.

Gatekeeping: Protecting my calendar to ensure I have "buffer time" between big tasks.

You are a Clear Communicator: Your written English is warm, professional, and precise. If you speak Malay or Mandarin, that’s a huge plus for coordinating with local vendors!

You Value Reliability: You understand that for someone with ADHD, your "fast response" is the anchor that keeps my day from drifting.

Because of how my brain works, I’ll be looking to you for help in these specific areas:

The "Double-Check": Since I can be impulsive with "Yes," I’ll ask you to review my commitments before they go on the calendar.

The "ADHD Tax" Protector: I’ll ask you to track all our local subscriptions, car renewals, and medical appointments so nothing ever lapses or incurs a late fee.

Decision Narrowing: Instead of giving me 10 options for a flight or a plumber, please just give me the top 2 so I don’t get "stuck" choosing.

Inbox Triage: I’ll ask you to "archive" the things I don't need to see so that when I open my email, I only see the things that truly matter.
