Podcast & Video Editor / Publisher (Audio, Video + Show Notes)

We’re seeking a Podcast & Video Editor / Publisher to join our growing remote team. This position starts part-time (20 hrs/week) with the potential to move into full-time for the right person.

We are a US-based company running multiple digital projects across education, media, and publishing. We rely heavily on initiative-driven, detail-oriented team members who take ownership of their work, communicate clearly, and consistently deliver high-quality output.

Responsibilities
- Download, clean, and edit podcast audio and video files
- Edit additional video content such as webinars, conference recordings, interviews, and short-form clips
- Create short-form video clips or highlights for social media when needed
- Write show notes and episode descriptions
- Upload and publish episodes and videos to hosting and distribution platforms
- Transcribe episodes or videos for content repurposing
- Communicate effectively with our team regarding timelines and deliverables
- Proactively identify issues and suggest improvements
- Follow up consistently and meet deadlines

Requirements
- Strong audio and video editing skills (Adobe Audition, Audacity, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Descript, or similar)
- Experience publishing podcasts (Libsyn, Anchor/Spotify, Buzzsprout, etc.)
- Comfortable editing long-form video and creating short-form clips
- Strong English writing skills for show notes, descriptions, and captions
- Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Ability to self-direct and work independently in a remote environment
- Strong initiative, reliability, and follow-through
- Eye for pacing, clarity, and overall production quality

Hours & Pay
- Part-time: 20 hrs/week (US Hours)
- Salary Range: ?20,000 – ?30,000/month (approx. $375–$525 USD, part-time)
- Full-time potential after evaluation
