Senior Webflow Developer

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Webflow Developer to join our team remotely. This is a hands-on, senior-level role for a Webflow specialist who can build high-performing, scalable websites from design to launch, with a strong focus on speed, SEO, and Google best practices.

You’ll work closely with designers, marketers, and SEO specialists to deliver fast, conversion-focused websites that meet modern performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Webflow Development:
- Build, maintain, and optimise custom Webflow websites using best practices
- Develop clean, scalable CMS structures and reusable components
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive layouts across all devices
- Implement animations and interactions while maintaining performance standards

Performance & SEO:
- Build fast-loading websites that meet Google’s Core Web Vitals benchmarks
- Implement SEO-friendly site structures, semantic HTML, and clean class naming
- Optimise assets, images, and scripts to ensure optimal page speed
- Work closely with SEO manager to implement on-page and technical SEO requirements

Design-to-Development:
- Translate Figma design files into pixel-perfect Webflow builds
- Collaborate with designers to ensure feasibility, consistency, and performance
- Maintain high attention to detail across spacing, typography, and interactions

Technical Standards & Best Practices:
- Follow Google’s requirements for modern web performance and accessibility
- Ensure proper use of Webflow features such as CMS collections, components, and symbols
- Maintain clean, well-documented builds that can be easily managed by internal teams

Cross-Platform Development:
- Develop and maintain websites in WordPress environments when required
- Work with Elementor-based WordPress builds (bonus skill)
- Ensure consistency in quality and performance across platforms


Requirements

Essential:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with the Webflow platform
- Proven ability to build fast, performance-optimised websites
- Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and technical SEO requirements
- Solid knowledge of Google’s Core Web Vitals and performance metrics
- Ability to develop websites directly from Figma design files
- Strong understanding of responsive design and modern CSS practices
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication skills in English

Desirable:
- Experience developing websites in WordPress
- Familiarity with Elementor-based WordPress environments
- Basic JavaScript knowledge for advanced interactions
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) best practices
- Experience working alongside SEO and CRO teams
