Social Media & Marketing Assistant

About Us

We are a growing yoga studio based in Seattle USA. We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Assistant to help with content creation and posting across our social media channels.
This role focuses on execution and support. Strategy and final approvals are handled by our U.S.-based team.

Responsibilities
Create social media graphics using Canva
Prepare Instagram posts, Stories, and simple promos
Schedule and post content on Instagram and Facebook
Write short captions and hashtags (direction provided)
Repurpose photos and videos into social posts
Monitor comments and messages (basic replies only)
Organize content and files in Google Drive
Help with light admin or marketing tasks when needed

Communication
Strong written English is required
Clear spoken English is a plus
This role will focus mainly on written communication at first
Phone or voice tasks may be added later if it’s a good fit

Requirements
Strong experience using Canva
Experience posting on Instagram
Ability to follow brand guidelines and instructions
Organized, reliable, and responsive
Stable internet connection

Security & Confidentiality
You may be given limited access to social media and work tools
All login information must be kept private and secure
Access is for work purposes only
Sharing access with anyone else is not allowed
You must follow basic security and confidentiality guidelines
A simple confidentiality agreement may be required

Preferred (Not Required)
Experience with yoga, fitness, or wellness brands
Experience using Meta Business Suite or similar tools
Video editing in Canva or CapCut

Availability
Flexible schedule
Must have at least 2 hours overlapping with U.S. Pacific Time during certain days
Evening availability is preferred, especially the day before posts go live
Most work can be done independently
Live replies are only needed occasionally
Long-term opportunity for the right person

Hours
Part-time: 10 hours per week
