JOB OVERVIEW

Remote | Part-Time to Start, then transition to Full Time

We’re an established U.S.-based eCommerce business in the automotive aftermarket, focused primarily on pickup truck parts and accessories.

We’re hiring a hands-on Operations Lead to work directly with the owner. The initial focus will be learning systems and assisting with hiring the right sales and customer service VAs. Over time, responsibilities will expand into operations, marketing, and team management as trust and capability are demonstrated.

This is not a basic VA role, not a task-only position, and not a coordinator role.

Responsibilities:

Initial Focus
• Learn existing systems, tools, and workflows
• Assist with screening, testing, and interviewing sales and customer service VAs
• Help cover customer messaging or sales during transitions when needed
• Document workflows and flag inefficiencies

Expanded Responsibilities Over Time
• Improve customer messaging and sales workflows
• Create, manage, and adjust Meta (Facebook) ads
• Design ad creatives and marketing assets using Canva
• Edit and maintain the Shopify website (products, content, layout updates)
• Create and manage Facebook posts and engagement
• Work inside systems such as FLXPOINT, GoHighLevel, and Pabbly Connect
• Manage VAs by setting expectations, reviewing output, and stepping in when issues arise

Automotive Knowledge Requirement (Important)

This role requires real, hands-on familiarity with U.S. pickup trucks. While we can train you on internal systems and software, we cannot train foundational truck knowledge.

You should already be comfortable working with common platforms such as:
• Ford F-150 / F-250 / F-350
• Ram 1500 / 2500 / 3500
• Chevrolet Silverado 1500 / 2500 / 3500
• GMC Sierra 1500 / 2500 / 3500
• Toyota Tacoma / Tundra

More importantly, you should understand how and why fitment issues happen, including:
• differences between 1500 vs 2500/3500 platforms
• body style and generation changes
• trim-level and engine-related variations
• common reasons parts do not interchange cleanly

You do not need to memorize every specification, but you must know what to verify, what not to assume, and when to slow down before giving a customer an answer.

Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

Applicants must meet all of the following:
• Strong written and spoken English
• eCommerce experience (Shopify and eBay)
• Comfortable making decisions without constant approval
• Able to learn new systems quickly and troubleshoot issues
• Hands on Meta (Facebook) ads experience
• Practical design experience using Canva (or similar)
• Shopify website editing experience
• CRM experience (GoHighLevel preferred)
• Automation experience (Pabbly Connect, Zapier, or GoHighLevel preferred)
• Background in the automotive aftermarket

Preferred Experience
• FLXPOINT
• Advanced GoHighLevel usage
• Advanced Pabbly Connect usage

Compensation
- Compensation will scale as responsibilities increase and performance is demonstrated.
Please include your expected hourly rate in your application.

How to Apply (Read Carefully)
- Applications must follow the exact structure below.
- Applications that do not follow this structure will not be reviewed.

1. Background Summary
4-6 sentences describing:
• Your professional background
• Your experience in the automotive aftermarket
• The types of eCommerce businesses you’ve worked with

2. Systems & Tools Experience
For each tool below, list:
• Years of hands-on experience
• What you personally did with the tool
Required tools:
• Shopify
• Meta (Facebook) Ads

3. Customer Communication Scenario
A customer asks:
-“Will this lift kit fit my 2012 GMC 1500?”
Write the response you would send to the customer.

4. Coaching & Correction
One of your VAs repeatedly gives vague or overly confident answers to fitment questions. Sometimes their answers are wrong and steer the customer towards ordering an incorrect item, costing us money in shipping and restocking fees.
Explain:
• How you would correct this
• What guidance or process you would put in place

5. Hiring & Delegation Experience
Describe a real situation where you:
• Trained someone to replace you in a role, or
• Hired and trained someone who took over part of your responsibilities
Be specific about what worked, what didn’t, and what you changed.

6. Compensation Expectation
• Your expected hourly rate
• A brief explanation for that rate

7. Product Fitment Reasoning
Answer the following in detail:
- Will this part fit a 2000 Ram 1500 Sport?
Product description:
---------- Dodge Ram 2500/3500 Front Bumper”
• Explain your answer clearly and in detail, including what assumptions you would and would not make when responding to a customer.

What This Role Is Not
• Not a basic VA position
• Not a task-only role
• Not a middleman role

Final Notes
This role will start with foundational work and expand as trust and capability are demonstrated. The goal is to reduce the owner’s involvement in daily sales and customer support while improving execution across operations and marketing.
