US Medical Biller – Acupuncture Clinic (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced US Medical Biller to handle insurance billing for a small acupuncture clinic in the United States. This is a remote, long-term position starting part-time, with potential to expand.

MUST BE HIPAA COMPLIANT!

Responsibilities:

- Submit insurance claims for acupuncture services
- Correct use of CPT codes 97810, 97811, 97813, 97814
- ICD-10 diagnosis coding
- Follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims
- Post EOBs / ERAs
- Communicate claim status clearly and on time
- Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times

Requirements:

- 2+ years US medical billing experience
- Direct experience with acupuncture billing (preferred)
- Knowledge of US insurance payers (BCBS, Aetna, United, Cigna, etc.)
- Experience with EMR/billing software (Office Ally, Kareo, SimplePractice, or similar)
- Reliable internet and computer
- Willing to sign HIPAA + BAA

Work Details:

- Location: Philippines only
- Schedule: Flexible (10–20 hrs/week to start)
- Engagement: Independent Contractor (1099)
- Pay: $6–$10/hour (based on experience)
