Property Management Assistant
The Property Management Assistant supports day-to-day residential property operations, including tenant communication, leasing, maintenance coordination, and administrative tasks. This role reports to a direct supervisor, requires regular Slack communication, and works closely with the on-site property manager.
Pay
- $4 per hour, with annual performance reviews and periodic bonuses
Responsibilities
- Listings & leasing: Create and update rental listings
- Tenant relations: Respond to tenant inquiries, handle concerns, and manage lease renewals
- Maintenance coordination: Track and assign maintenance requests, follow up on progress
- Move-outs & turnovers: Track move-outs, schedule inspections, coordinate turnovers
- Rent monitoring: Track payments, send reminders, flag overdue accounts
- Vendor management: Communicate with contractors and vendors for property maintenance
- Administrative tasks: Maintain records, manage deadlines, and organize files
- Compliance: Ensure processes align with local rental laws and company policies
Qualifications
- Experience in property management or a related field
- Familiarity with property management software Doorloop or ability to learn quickly
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to collaborate with tenants, tea
