I’m looking for a smart, proactive, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support me across content creation, research of variety, event planning and sourcing, real estate support, and general operations including building systems and SOPs.
This role is best for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, thinks in systems, and likes taking ownership once expectations are clear. I’m not looking to micromanage — I want someone who can take things off my plate over time.
Hours
10–15 hours per week to start.
Long-term role with room to grow.
I am based an San Diego, so availability to work 12-2pm PST is preferable
Core Responsibilities
- Create and maintain SOPs to document workflows & Optimize/create all systems
- Draft short video scripts and captions using provided inspiration.
- Research (San Diego events/news, Podcast guests, speaking opportunities, vendors, products)
- Event support (Eventbrite posts, checklists, location research, graphics)
- Light Canva work (branded lists, graphics)
- Shopping, gifting, and travel research
- Assist with database (pull data, birthdays management, prep
What I’m Looking For
- Excellent written English
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Proactive and self-directed (you suggest improvements)
- Comfortable with Notion, Google Drive, Canva
- Able to handle varied tasks and shifting priorities
- Organized, reliable, and communicative
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience supporting entrepreneurs or content creators
- Real estate or event support experience
