JOB OVERVIEW

About Me

I run a coaching & hypnotherapy business based in Berlin, Germany.

I help entrepreneurs and private clients reduce stress, overcome inner blocks, and perform at their best – mainly through coaching, hypnotherapy, and digital programs.

I already create a lot of content (videos, ideas, scripts).
What I need now is a reliable Social Media & Content VA who can help me:

turn my ideas and raw material into consistent content, and

keep my channels active and on-brand.

You don’t have to be a strategist – I will provide the direction, topics, and core message.
Your job is to execute: design, edit, post, and organize.

Role Overview

This is a part-time role starting with around 10–15 hours per week and a 4-week paid trial.

If we both enjoy working together and the results are good, this can turn into a long-term collaboration with stable hours and increasing pay over time.

You will mainly work with:

Canva (or similar tool) for graphics & carousels

A simple video editing app (CapCut, VN, Premiere Rush, etc.) for Reels/Shorts

Platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube (and possibly others later)

Transcripts / text content that I provide

Responsibilities

Content Creation (based on my copy & ideas)

Turn my text and ideas into:

Single-image posts (quotes, short tips, hooks)

Carousels (step-by-step tips, mini-lessons, myth vs reality, before/after, etc.)

Design posts in Canva according to a simple visual style:

same fonts, colors, clean layout

readable on mobile, not cluttered

Short-Form Video (Reels / Shorts)

Take raw vertical videos I record (or longer videos) and:

cut them into short clips (30–90 seconds)

add simple text captions, headline, maybe subtitles if needed (using CapCut or similar)

export in 9:16 format suitable for Instagram Reels / Facebook Reels / YouTube Shorts

Add a simple branded look over time (consistent fonts, colors, intro/outro if we d ---------- to use one).

Publishing & Scheduling

Upload and schedule posts on:

Instagram & Facebook (via Meta Business Suite)

YouTube (for Shorts and sometimes longer videos)

Write or format captions based on text I give you:

sometimes you will simply copy/paste

sometimes you will adapt my text into a shorter caption, using my tone

Repurposing & Organization

Use transcripts of my videos to:

extract 1–3 strong quotes / hooks

format them into short written posts (with my help at the beginning)

Keep a simple content calendar:

what is posted when, on which platform

which content has already been used

Keep files organized in Google Drive / Dropbox:

RAW videos

edited videos

Canva templates

posted content

Requirements (Must-Haves)

Please only apply if you:

Have solid experience with Canva (or similar):

You can create clean, modern, simple designs (no over-the-top clutter).

Have basic video editing experience:

CapCut, VN, InShot, Premiere Rush, or similar.

Cutting, trimming, adding simple text, exporting in proper format.

Are familiar with Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube as platforms:

You know how to upload content, add captions, tags, thumbnails, etc.

Can follow instructions and examples:

I can show you a style I like, and you can create new posts in that style.

Have good written English:

You can understand my copy and follow my tone.

You are comfortable using tools like DeepL to translate my English text into German and back if needed.

Are reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

You do not have to be a marketing strategist.
I am mainly looking for someone who executes consistently and communicates clearly.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus, not required)

Experience working with coaches, consultants, or personal brands.

Experience turning longer videos (e.g. YouTube) into multiple short clips.

Basic understanding of hooks, pattern interrupts, and what makes a post scroll-stopping.

Work Conditions

Hours: ~10–15 hours per week to start.

Time zone: I am in Europe (CET).

We don’t need full overlap, but I prefer at least 1–2 hours overlap on some days for easy communication and feedback.

Communication:

Primary channel: WhatsApp (for direct/quick communication).

We will also use Loom for screen recordings and feedback.

Content planning can be organized via a simple content calendar (e.g. Google Sheet or Trello).

Compensation

First 4 weeks (paid trial):

$3/hour, approx. 10–15 hours/week.

After successful trial (if we both d ---------- to continue):

$3.5/hour (with the option to increase further over time)

Long-term:

I am looking for a long-term partner, not a short gig.

If you are reliable, consistent, and help keep my content machine running, I’m open to gradually increasing your rate over time (up to $4/hour and beyond as responsibility grows).

How to Apply

Please apply here on OnlineJobs / or via DM (for Facebook groups) and include your answers to the questions below:

How many years of experience do you have with Canva (or similar tools)?

How many years of experience do you have with video editing (Reels/Shorts, TikTok-style videos, etc.)? Which apps/software do you use?

Please share 3–5 examples of your work:

Instagram posts/carousels

Reels/Shorts/TikTok videos

Thumbnails or other social media designs

Describe briefly how you usually work:

If I send you a text + a raw video, how would you turn that into 2–3 posts (one static, one carousel, one Reel)?

Our compensation structure is:

First 4 weeks: $3/hour, 10–15h/week

After a successful trial: $3.5/hour, with potential increases over time
Are you comfortable with this? (Yes/No)

What is your current internet speed (upload / download) and what backup option do you have if your main connection goes down?

In which Philippines time window are you usually available, and how many hours per week can you commit?

Please include the word “SOCIAL” in your first sentence so I know you read the full job description carefully.

Looking forward to finding a reliable long-term content partner ????
