Virtual Dental Insurance Verification & AR Coordinator (Remote)

We are a multi-location dental practice seeking an experienced Virtual Dental Insurance Verification and AR Coordinator. This role handles insurance verification and insurance AR follow-up only. Claims submission is not required. You must work during our operating hours in Eastern Standard Time.

Responsibilities:
Perform full PPO insurance breakdowns, verify eligibility and plan limitations, enter benefits into Dentrix, attach plans to appointments, notify the office of any issues, work the insurance aging report (30 60 90+), check claim status through calls or portals, download and organize EOBs, document findings in Dentrix, and identify claims that require corrections or additional information.

Requirements:
Experience with PPO dental insurance for a dental practice, understanding of CDT codes and insurance terminology, familiarity with workflows used in US-based dental offices, Dentrix experience preferred, strong English communication, high attention to detail, reliable internet, quiet workspace, ability to work live during EST hours, and willingness to sign a HIPAA confidentiality agreement.

Preferred:
Experience with D major PPO plans such as Delta MetLife Aetna Cigna Guardian and Humana.

Compensation:
4-7 USD per hour paid biweekly long-term position
