Job Summary
Silca Coffee is looking for a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented Merchandising Manager to lead our product assortment, pricing strategy, visual merchandising, inventory management, and campaign execution across all ecommerce platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities
1. Product Selection & Assortment Planning
Develop and execute the merchandise strategy based on customer trends, sales performance, and market analysis.
Recommend the right mix of products, bundles, sizes, and categories across all channels (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, website).
Forecast sales and manage stock levels to ensure balanced inventory (no overstocking, no stockouts).
Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research to identify new product opportunities.
Coordinate with procurement, sales, and operations for stock planning and replenishment.
2. Product Management
Ensure all product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and visually aligned with Silca Coffee's brand identity.
Manage product assortment, pricing strategy, SKU lifecycle, and listing optimization.
Monitor listing quality (titles, descriptions, SEO, images, compliance).
Work closely with the Ecommerce and Graphic teams to prepare new listings, improve assets, and ensure consistent branding.
3. Visual Merchandising & Store Layout
Oversee the visual presentation of products across online storefronts and retail placements.
Ensure online decoration, banners, and modules reflect campaign themes and brand standards.
Optimize product display order, modules, and category arrangement to increase conversion and visibility.
Support offline merchandising requirements when needed (kiosks, shelves, partnerships).
4. Inventory & Stock Management
· Replenishment & Control: Monitor inventory levels meticulously and manage replenishment orders to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Perishable Management (Key): Implement and monitor strict control processes for Sell Through, Expiry Date, and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) monitoring,, stock aging, and slow-moving items.
Coordinate with operations for inbound/outbound stock movement and availability for campaigns.
Identify slow-moving products and develop action plans to drive sales or markdowns.
5. Sales Analysis & Performance Monitoring
Track daily, weekly, and monthly product performance across all platforms. Prepare weekly inventory health reports and recommend clearance, fresher rotation, or bundling strategies.
Analyze key metrics (conversion rate, sell-through, COGS, aging, GMROI, campaign ROI).
Identify slow-moving SKUs and create action plans (discounts, bundles, repackaging, relisting).
Prepare post-campaign evaluations with insights and recommendations.
Present regular sales and inventory updates to senior management.
6. Pricing & Discounts Strategy
Analyze competitor prices and market benchmarks to maintain competitive but profitable pricing.
Implement dynamic pricing strategies based on demand, seasonality, and performance.
Strategically manage discounts, markdowns, vouchers, bundles, GWP, and campaign pricing mechanics.
Coordinate with Finance and Ecommerce Manager to ensure margins and profitability targets are met.
7. Campaign & Promotion Management
Plan and execute merchandising requirements for Payday, Double Digit Sales, Seasonal Campaigns, Brand Mega Days, Xdeals, and Collaborations.
Complete promo set-up: vouchers, flexi combos, gifting, bundles, free gifts, and category discounts.
Ensure promotional items are visible, priced properly, and enrolled correctly in all platform campaigns.
Work with Marketing and Ecommerce teams for artwork, content, copies, and store decoration.
8. Market Trends & Competitor Analysis
Stay updated on retail trends, ecommerce platform movements, and competitor merchandising tactics.
Conduct ongoing research to keep Silca Coffee's assortment and presentation competitive and relevant.
Recommend innovative merchandising strategies based on insights and customer behavior.
Sales and Profitability: Focuses on driving sales growth and maximizing profitability by having the right products at the right time and price.
9. Marketing & Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate with Marketing for visuals, product launches, PR kits, influencer bundles, and promotional requirements.
Support the Ecommerce Manager in campaign planning, execution, and monitoring.
Work closely with Sales (HORECA) when merchandising support or product information is needed.
Ensure alignment between product merchandising, brand marketing, and operational readiness.
10. Ad Hoc Tasks & Ecommerce Support
Support seasonal sales, special events, new product launches, and marketing initiatives.
Execute additional merchandising tasks assigned by the Ecommerce Manager or leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years experience in merchandising, retail planning, or category management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Creative eye for visual merchandising and product curation.
Experience working with e-commerce platforms is a must.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
