JOB OVERVIEW

Drive Logistics Group
Position Summary Data and Operations Associate
Prepared: December 10, 2025
Start date: January 5, 2025

This is a remote opportunity assisting Drive Logistics Group, a logistics-minded industrial real estate brokerage. We are looking for a highly organized, numbers-focused individual to manage our database, run market reports, and ensure our deal information is 100?curate.

If you have a background in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Engineering, or Data Entry, this role is perfect for you. We are willing to train the right person on the specific industry details.

Market Intelligence:
Lease Tracking: Search our data tools to find companies with warehouse leases expiring soon (18–24 months out).
Sublease Hawk: Weekly scan of LoopNet and business news to spot facility closures, bankruptcies, or distress. Add these as leads for us to help dispose of the space.
News Monitoring: Track news alerts to see if any of our target clients have recently raised money or bought another company.

Database Management

Partner Updates: Email our list of 150+ logistics partners quarterly to get their updated pricing sheets and update the numbers in our Master Spreadsheet.

Data Accuracy: Regularly audit our CRM (Pipedrive) to ensure there are no duplicate contacts and that every company is tagged correctly.

Deal Support
Tour Books: Download property flyers, extract technical specs (Clear Height, Dock Doors), run drive-time analysis to ports/customers, and build a PDF using our Canva template.
Broker Intel Log: Organize intelligence provided by Bailey (concessions, landlord posture) into a central "Deal Book" so we have a history of every listing broker's behavior.
Mapping: Use Google Maps to calculate driving distances between warehouses and key locations (like Ports or Customers).

Transaction Coordination
Post-Tour Packages: Within 24 hours of a tour, take Bailey’s photos, videos, and notes, verify the measurements, and populate our standardized "Tour Report" for the client.
Inspection Prep: Create pre-inspection checklists for vendors and track deficiencies/landlord commitments in a clean PDF.

Requirements To excel in this role, you must be comfortable with numbers and spreadsheets.

High Attention to Detail: You spot errors that others miss. You are the type of person who double-checks every number.

Excel Skills: You are comfortable using Google Sheets, Excel, and or Airtable to organize large lists of data.

Logic-Driven: You prefer working with data, maps, and facts rather than writing creative emails.

Independence: You are comfortable working remotely and managing your time effectively.

Note: This role does not require cold calling.

Communication & Hours

Daily Sync: You will meet with Bailey Martin via video/audio call each morning, Monday–Friday (9:00 AM EST), to outline priorities for the day.

Hours: 40 Hours per week. The schedule is flexible, but you must be available for the morning sync and a few hours during the standard Eastern Time workday for collaboration.
