Account Collector

We’re a fast-growing Buy Here Pay Here dealership serving customers with flexible in-house financing. We’re committed to providing great customer service while effectively managing our auto loan portfolio. We’re looking for a dependable and assertive Account Collector to join our team and help manage customer accounts, reduce delinquency, and keep communication clear and professional.

The Account Collector will contact customers regarding past-due payments, set up payment arrangements, and follow dealership policies for late accounts, extensions, and repossessions. This role is critical to keeping our loan portfolio healthy and supporting long-term customer success.

Responsibilities
• Make daily outbound calls and texts to customers with late or upcoming payments
• Document all communication in DealerCenter or our CRM
• Collect payments over the phone or set up payment arrangements
• Issue late notices and follow up on broken promises to pay
• Coordinate with management regarding accounts eligible for repossession
• Maintain accurate records, notes, and customer account statuses
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining firm expectations
• Review accounts at 5-, 10-, and 18-day delinquency milestones
• Work with the Collections Manager on recovery strategies
