Full Stack Java & Next JS Developer

We are RR Apps ( ---------- ), a global IT software development agency specialising in custom web and mobile app projects for clients worldwide. We're seeking a dedicated, full-time Java Full Stack Developer to join our remote team. You'll work on exciting projects involving backend development with Java Spring Boot, cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and frontend/mobile development using React, Next.js, and React Native.

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week), with flexible hours but requiring overlap with Australian time zones (AEST). We value long-term team members who are proactive, reliable, and passionate about delivering high-quality software. Compensation is competitive and negotiable based on experience (starting from $800–$1200/month, depending on skills and proven track record). Proficiency in English is essential for clear communication with our international team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java Spring Boot.
- Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like Compute Engine, App Engine, and Cloud Storage.
- Build responsive web applications with React and Next.js.
- Create cross-platform mobile apps using React Native.
- Collaborate with our team on web development and mobile app projects, from ideation to deployment.
- Troubleshoot, optimise, and ensure code quality through testing and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to agile workflows.

Requirements:
- Proven experience (at least 2–3 years) as a Full Stack Developer.
- Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot for backend development.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for cloud-based solutions.
- Proficiency in React Native for mobile app development.
- Solid skills in React and Next.js for web development.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) for team collaboration and client interactions.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) remotely with reliable internet and a quiet workspace.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus, but not required if you have strong practical experience.
- Must be based in the Philippines.
