JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role: We’re hiring an experienced Data Analyst to own recurring reporting and dashboarding for a growing, multi-service business serving parents with young children. You will pull data daily, weekly, and monthly, transform it into clean, decision-ready insights, and deliver dashboards and executive reports that help leadership understand performance, trends, and opportunities.

This is not a “just run reports” role. We need someone who can recommend the right analytics stack, build a reliable reporting cadence, and create visuals that make complex operations easy to understand.

What You’ll Do

Data Pulls & Reporting Cadence
• Execute daily/weekly/monthly data pulls from company systems (e.g., EMR/CRM/scheduling, billing, marketing platforms, spreadsheets).
• Maintain consistent reporting schedules and ensure leadership gets reports on time.
• Build “single source of truth” datasets and standardized definitions for key metrics.

Dashboard & Visualization Development
• Design and build dashboards for leadership (executive view + department views).
• Create clear visuals that answer business questions (trends, variance, performance vs targets).
• Improve dashboards over time based on feedback and changing needs.

Tool Recommendation & Implementation
• Evaluate and recommend the best-fit data and BI tools (Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau, Metabase, etc.) based on:
• data sources and accessibility
• reporting needs and stakeholder usability
• automation capability and cost
• Implement the solution and document how it works.

Data Quality & Metric Definitions
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and upstream workflow issues that impact reporting accuracy.
• Create data dictionaries and metric definitions so reporting stays consistent across teams.
• Build checks to prevent errors (missing fields, duplicates, outliers).

Executive Insights & Decision Support
• Provide monthly executive summaries highlighting:
• what changed and why
• risks and bottlenecks
• growth opportunities
• recommended actions
• Support ad hoc analysis requests from leadership.

Required Experience & Skills
• 3+ years experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development (executive-facing).
• Strong skills in:
• SQL (preferred) or equivalent data querying methods
• Excel/Google Sheets (advanced; pivots, lookup, structured modeling)
• BI/dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.)
• Proven ability to translate business questions into metrics, dashboards, and actionable insights.
• Strong visualization and storytelling skills—your work must be clear and easy to interpret.
• High ownership: you can design the reporting system and improve it without constant direction.
• Strong written English and ability to present findings clearly.

Nice to Have
• Experience with healthcare, therapy clinics, scheduling/billing operations, or multi-location service businesses.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources (APIs, CSV exports, EMR/CRM reports).
• Familiarity with data pipelines (ETL tools, dbt, Airbyte/Fivetran, Python).
• Experience building role-based dashboards (executive vs team views).

What Success Looks Like (First 60–90 Days)
• A reliable daily/weekly/monthly reporting cadence is live and automated where possible.
• Leadership dashboards are built with clear KPI definitions and drill-down capability.
• Data sources are documented and key metrics are standardized.
• Reporting time decreases and confidence in numbers increases.

Work Setup & Compensation
• Remote (Philippines-based)
• Full-time with overlap hours for collaboration
• Competitive pay based on experience

1. Resume/CV
2. A short cover letter describing your dashboarding/reporting experience
