JOB OVERVIEW

Overview:
Growing e-commerce start-up is looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager to manage the brands presence on social media across various platforms. The successful candidate will have proven experience growing social media audiences and building relationships with customers, potential customers, influencers and the industry community. Analyze customer engagement and help deliver maximum value through reporting impact. Identify and test new areas for growth of social media.

Knowledge and Skills
Exceptional work ethic, strategic vision, and the ability to deliver results.
Knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Twitter and others; proficiency in social media techniques such as hashtags, @mentions, and the like.
Organized, responsible and able to coordinate multiple projects at once.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Copywriting is a plus.

Job Requirements
Hands on experience with social media management for brands using Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, Twitter and emerging platforms.
Technological fluency and the ability to learn new applications quickly.
Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize in order to meet daily, weekly, and long-term requirements and goals.
Exceptional project management skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities
Develop relevant copy and hashtags for content to reach target customers and followers.
Implement/schedule the content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns.
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
Monitor, listen and respond to social engagements and contests.
Assist in expanding community and/or influencer outreach efforts.
Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.
Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.
Capture, compile and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices for ROI reporting.
