YouTube Video Editor + Channel Manager (Long-Term VA)

I run a growing wellness and Fitness brand and I’m looking for a reliable, creative, and detail-oriented YouTube Video Editor who can also assist with basic channel management. This is a long-term role for someone who can follow instructions, match my aesthetic style, and deliver consistent, high-quality work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

YouTube Editing
- Edit 10–30min YouTube videos (clean cuts, aesthetic style)
- Add captions, transitions, simple motion graphics, and music
- Color correction + stabilization
- Create strong 3–5 second hooks
- Export in the required resolutions

Short-Form Editing
- Repurpose long form youtube videos into shorts/ tik toks
- Edit vertical videos for Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Add aesthetic captions (minimal, clean — not chaotic)
- Create multiple versions of the same video

YouTube Channel Support
- Upload videos to YouTube
- Add titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and end screens
- Basic keyword research using YouTube/TubeBuddy/VidIQ
- Organize playlists and schedule posts
- Provide simple weekly analytics updates

Other Tasks
- Create thumbnails in Canva
- Organize Google Drive / dropbox files
- Follow SOPs and meet deadlines

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience editing YouTube videos (send samples)
- Experience editing Reels/TikToks/Shorts
- Strong English comprehension
- Can follow brand guidelines + instructions
- Organized and reliable
- Fast, stable internet
- Software: CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci
- Canva experience is a plus
- Basic YouTube SEO knowledge is a plus

BONUS SKILLS (Not required but preferred)
- YouTube keyword research
- Understanding YouTube Analytics
- Experience working with wellness or lifestyle brands

WORK HOURS + PAY
Part-time, long-term role
10–15 hours per week depending on workload
Pay: $6–$9/hr depending on experience
Paid via Transfer Wise (weekly/biweekly)
