Backlink & SEO Contractor (Freelance / Part-Time)

Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Backlink & SEO Contractor to support our ongoing digital marketing efforts.
This role focuses on cleaning up toxic backlinks, establishing high-quality backlinks on a daily basis, and helping new content gain visibility in search engines, including AI-driven search results. If you have proven experience in backlink building, SEO cleanup, and fast indexing strategies, we’d love to work with you.

Key Responsibilities:
Backlink Cleanup & Monitoring
• Identify and remove toxic or harmful backlinks using industry-standard tools.
• Perform ongoing backlink audits to protect domain health.
• Submit disavow files when necessary and monitor recovery.
Quality Backlink Acquisition
• Build high-quality, relevant backlinks on a consistent daily basis.
• Use ethical, white-hat link building strategies only.
• Source backlink opportunities from guest posts, niche edits, resource pages, PR mentions, local citations, and partnerships.
• Track and report acquired links weekly.
Content Promotion & Fast Indexing
• Help newly published blogs appear in search results within days.
• Use indexing strategies and SEO best practices to ensure content is discovered quickly.
• Optimize and strategically position content to rank in AI search results (Google SGE, Perplexity, ChatGPT search integrations, etc.).
SEO Support
• Collaborate with the marketing manager to support ranking goals.
• Provide recommendations for on-page optimizations when needed.
• Monitor competitor backlink profiles and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in backlink building and link acquisition negotiation.
• Has* portfolio showing Google Business Profile optimization.
• Strong understanding of toxic backlink identification and cleanup.
• Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Search Console, Majestic, or similar.
• Experience ranking content in both traditional search and AI-powered search results.
• Ability to work independently with consistent daily output.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of local SEO and AI ranking factors.
• Experience working with service-based or HVAC industry websites a plus.
• Understanding of SGE/AI-overview optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with fast indexing tools and search engine behavior.
• Have 5 years of experience using SEMrush/Ahref, Search Console, Majestic, or similar.
• Can suggest backlink automation tools.

Contract Details:
