Website Developer/ WordPress Expert

Position Summary

The organization is seeking a highly qualified Website Developer / WordPress Specialist to support the design, development, and maintenance of corporate websites and digital platforms. This role requires a strong technical background, a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing web solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate across departments to ensure all digital properties align with corporate standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

-Design, develop, and maintain responsive and accessible websites utilizing WordPress, PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
-Develop and customize WordPress themes, templates, and plugins in accordance with organizational requirements.
Implement integrations with third-party systems, including APIs, CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and payment gateways.
-Conduct ongoing website maintenance, including version updates, backups, security patches, and performance monitoring.
-Optimize site performance with a focus on loading speed, technical SEO, code quality, and industry best practices.
-Execute website audits, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve system bugs in a timely manner.
-Ensure full compliance with brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility.
-Partner with designers, content teams, and project managers to support corporate digital initiatives.
-Oversee hosting environments, domain configurations, and the deployment or migration of websites as needed.
-Maintain documentation related to web systems, processes, and configurations.

Required Qualifications:

Technical Competencies

-Demonstrated experience as a Website Developer or WordPress Developer in a corporate or agency setting.
Advanced proficiency in:
WordPress CMS and WordPress
PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery
HTML5, CSS3, SASS (preferred)
-Proven ability to build and maintain custom themes and custom plugins.
-Experience with page-building tools (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, Divi).
-Strong understanding of SEO principles, web performance optimization, and security best practices.
-Hands-on experience managing hosting environments, DNS configurations, SSL certificates, and website migrations.
-Familiarity with RESTful API integrations and version control systems such as Git.

-Prior experience in a large enterprise or digital agency is advantageous.
-Proven experience working with WordPress
-Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly in English (both written + spoken).
