About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Community Manager & Content Support Specialist to help manage an online community focused on autism awareness and support. The ideal candidate will create and post meaningful content related to autism, help organize resources and documents, and engage positively with members of the community.

This role is perfect for someone who is empathetic, organized, and skilled in communication—someone who can handle sensitive topics respectfully while promoting understanding and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

Community Management
Manage and moderate an online community (e.g., Facebook group, forum, or ---------- ) focused on autism support and education.
Respond to questions, share resources, and foster a safe, positive environment for all members.
Encourage engagement through discussions, polls, and relevant posts.
Monitor comments and activity to ensure respectful, inclusive communication.

Content Creation & Posting
Research and write posts, articles, or short updates related to autism awareness, education, and advocacy.
Share evidence-based resources, inspirational stories, and practical tips for families and individuals.
Coordinate visuals, captions, and posting schedules for social media platforms.

Administrative & Documentation Support
Assist in organizing documents, research materials, and reports related to autism.
Help prepare summaries, presentations, or educational materials.
Maintain accurate records and file management systems.

Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Background or experience in community management, social media management, or content writing.
Genuine interest or experience in topics related to autism, neurodiversity, mental health, or education.
Strong research and organizational skills.
Empathy, patience, and professionalism in handling sensitive topics and conversations.
Proficient in Google Workspace, Canva, and social media platforms.

Nice to Have
Experience in psychology, education, or special needs support.
Familiarity with autism advocacy or working with neurodivergent individuals.
Experience creating infographics or educational content.

Work Schedule
Flexible schedule, with some overlap in client’s time zone preferred.
Remote work with regular updates via email or messaging tools.
