Full-Time Video Editor Wanted for UK Travel YouTube Channel (Long-Term)

My YouTube channel is rapidly growing, and I’m looking for a high-level video editor to join me long-term. This role will suit someone who loves working on 30+ minute travel documentaries, with a storytelling style similar to:

Peter Santenello

Drew Binsky

Simon Wilson

If you understand how to hold attention, shape a narrative, build emotional beats, and pace longer travel videos, this could be perfect for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

Editing 2–3 long-form travel vlogs per week (usually 25–40 minutes)

Creating engaging stories from multiple hours of footage

Adding maps, graphics, titles etc

Collaborating with me on large projects using L ---------- or similar cloud-based workflows

Creating clean, fast first drafts so I can do final passes

Occasional short-form edits (optional, not required)

Requirements

Fluent English (very important)

Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro

Experience with After Effects for simple motion graphics

A strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and travel editing

Comfortable working with large files and remote collaboration tools like L ----------

Reliable internet connection

Able to meet weekly deadlines

Available for full-time work

Must provide samples of previous work

Test Edit

Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a paid short test edit (5–7 minutes) so I can see your pacing, storytelling ability, and technical skills.
