We are seeking a highly skilled virtual assistant to support our short-term let and property management operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential real estate management, customer service, and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include handling bookings, responding to guest inquiries, organising the cleaning and turnover roster and creating property listings. If you are organized, proactive, and have experience in property management, airbnb hosting or similar we would love to hear from you.
You will work directly with the owner and be responsible for guest communications, coordinating cleaners, and assisting with listing creation on property management websites. More detail on responsibilities below
Role Responsibilities
Guest Management & Communication
Respond to guest enquiries (pre-booking and in-stay) using templates
Handle issues, questions, check-in instructions, and local recommendations
Maintain professional and hospitality-focused communication tone
Monitor guest reviews and flag any requiring attention
Cleaner & Maintenance Coordination
- Schedule cleaning teams across multiple properties
- Confirm turnover times, access, and special requests
- Coordinate linen, supplies, and occasional maintenance call-outs
- Maintain a clean calendar and ensure no missed turnovers
Listing Creation & Optimisation:
- Create new listings on property platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.)
- Update descriptions, titles, amenities, and pricing
- Upload and order photos based on STR best practices
- Optimise listings for visibility and ranking (SEO + Airbnb algorithm knowledge is a plus)
General Admin Tasks
- Update calendars across platforms
- Track expenses or cleaner hours
- Support onboarding of new properties
- Maintain spreadsheets and simple reporting
