Mid-Level PHP/Laravel VUE.js REMOTE Developer U.S. EST work hours (Part-Time -> Full-Time)

## **Job Overview**

We are a **US-based software company** seeking a **mid-level PHP/Laravel developer based in the Philippines** to join our growing development team. You will help build and maintain our software platform for travel information management and online booking operations.

This role begins **part-time for a short evaluation period** and transitions to **full-time** after successful performance.

**?? Work schedule must align with U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST).**

Hourly Rate

**$5.00 – $7.00 USD per hour**, depending on experience.

## **Responsibilities**

* Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable PHP/Laravel code
* Implement features from detailed specifications
* Work with the team remotely during EST hours
* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code
* Take initiative on tasks and deliver reliable results
* Learn new tools and technologies as needed

## **Required Skills & Experience**

* **3–5 years** professional PHP (OOP) experience
* **3+ years** experience with the Laravel framework (Laravel 8+ preferred)
* Strong understanding of PHP design patterns and architecture
* Experience with **Vue.js** or similar JavaScript frameworks
* Good SQL knowledge (MySQL/MariaDB)
* Solid JavaScript and jQuery experience
* Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
* Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions

## **Preferred / Nice-to-Have**

* Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
* UI/UX awareness when building features
* Experience in travel, booking, or logistics systems
* Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor)
* Familiarity with AI APIs or providers
* Basic DevOps familiarity (Forge, Docker, CI/CD)
