International Student Counsellor / Education Consultant (Philippines-based)

Overview
We are looking for an experienced and student-focused International Student Counsellor /
Education Consultant based in the Philippines. You will provide course and education
advice to prospective international students wanting to study in Australia and support
them through the complete application and enrolment process.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialised advice on Australian academic courses, institutions, and study
pathways.
• Understand clients’ background, goals, and circumstances, and recommend suitable study
options.
• Create tailored study plans and options based on entry requirements, budgets, and visa
pathways.
• Assist students with application and enrolment processes (forms, documents,
submissions).
• Liaise with education providers to follow up applications, offers, and CoEs.
• Support the Principal Migration Agent in preparing documentation for student visa
applications.
• Communicate regularly with students via phone, email, and online meetings to guide them
through each stage.
• Work towards individual and team student placement targets using ethical, student-centred
sales techniques.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company’s CRM.
• Ensure compliance with education providers’ policies and Australian government rules.
• Participate in marketing and engagement activities with student communities and
education institutions.

Requirements
• Previous experience as an education counsellor, international student advisor, or
similar is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge or willingness to learn about Australian universities, colleges, and
VET providers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust quickly with
students and families.
• Strong sales conversion mindset while maintaining ethical and compliant advice.
• Organised, target-driven, and comfortable working with KPIs.
• High level of English proficiency in both spoken and written communication.
• Comfortable working remotely and coordinating with a Sydney-based team across time
zones.
• Familiarity with CRMs, spreadsheets, and online communication tools (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
