Title: Marketing Assistant - Start with Facebook Ads, Grow Into Leadership

About the Role: This is NOT a typical VA job. This is NOT "just run some Facebook ads and clock your hours."
I run a strategic consulting business helping digital marketing agencies scale. I need someone who wants to learn how to run a business with me - not just complete tasks.

You'll start by managing Facebook ad campaigns because it's concrete, measurable, and a good test of your ability to think strategically. But if you're the right person, you'll grow into:
Managing other contractors
Leading client projects
Making strategic decisions
Potentially running parts of the business

I'm looking for someone who:
Communicates exceptionally well - clear, proactive, conversational English (this is non-negotiable)
Holds themselves to a high standard - you catch your own mistakes before I see them
Is highly intelligent and learns fast - I don't want to teach you the same thing twice
Takes ownership - you see problems and solve them without being told
Wants to grow - you're not looking for a comfortable specialist role, you're looking to build a career

You're NOT a fit if:
You only want to do Facebook ads and nothing else
You need detailed instructions for every task
You disappear for days then respond in bursts
You're just looking for another hourly gig
You're sensitive to direct feedback

What You'll Actually Do (Starting Point):
Manage Facebook ad campaigns for agency clients
Write ad copy and create simple ad visuals (we're not looking for a designer, just someone competent with Canva)
Analyze results and optimize campaigns
Communicate directly with me and potentially clients
Learn other skills as needed (LinkedIn ads, cold email, landing pages, project management)
Compensation: This will start as a contractor arrangement at $12-15 AUD/hour (~$8-10 USD) depending on experience. If we transition into full-time employment, the rate will be renegotiated and will be fair.
