Part-Time to Full-Time | Work From Home | Long-Term Role
We are a fast-growing Florida-based creditors’ rights and litigation law firm, and we are seeking an experienced remote litigation virtual assistant/paralegal to work closely with the Managing Attorney and help support our expanding caseload.
Our firm is known for helping clients recover money rightfully owed to them while delivering highly organized, detail-driven legal support. We are growing quickly and need someone who can hit the ground running, take initiative, and maintain exceptional accuracy.
Responsibilities
- You will provide litigation and administrative support, including:
- Drafting correspondence, templates, notices, discovery letters, and routine pleadings (no legal opinions required).
- Preparing and organizing exhibits, PDFs, discovery responses, and evidence packets.
- Managing and organizing incoming discovery and coordinating with clients.
- Coordinating with U.S. process servers and tracking service attempts.
- Processing and categorizing incoming court filings (PDFs, orders, notices).
- Managing the attorney’s calendar in U.S. Eastern Time (ET).
- Monitoring and tracking litigation deadlines in Clio and ClickUp.
- Scheduling and confirming hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Submitting documents through the Florida e-Portal (training provided).
- Ensuring all case files, folders, and naming conventions are consistently maintained.
- Conducting factual and procedural legal research when needed.
- Supporting special projects involving judgment enforcement, garnishments, and collections.
- This is a detail-heavy role — accuracy and organization are essential.
Qualifications (Required)
- Experience working for a U.S. law firm or litigation support team (Florida experience is a bonus).
- Strong familiarity with litigation workflow and civil procedure.
- Excellent English writing skills (near-native level).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to follow detailed written SOPs and checklists.
Strong experience with:
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft Office
- PDF management (Adobe/Preview/PDF Expert)
- Ability to work EST hours
- Very fast learner with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
- Reliable computer, stable high-speed internet, and a quiet workspace.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with Florida Rules of Civil Procedure
- Experience with e-filing through the Florida e-Portal
- Prior work with Clio Manage (or similar practice management tools)
- Experience with ClickUp or other task management apps
- Background in collections, creditors' rights, or judgment enforcement
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-time to start (20–30 hours/week) with transition to full-time
- The right candidate will transition to full-time after part-time probationary period
- Pay commensurate with experience
- Long-term role with stable workload
