Green Freight Logistics is a US-based freight brokerage supporting independent broker partners across multiple countries. We specialize in drayage, import/export, and general freight services throughout the United States.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a detail-oriented Load Compliance Specialist to ensure carriers meet compliance standards and shipments move smoothly from pickup to delivery. You'll vet carriers, track loads, and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
This role reports to the Director of Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Carrier Compliance

Verify carrier authority (MC#, DOT#) through FMCSA and Carrier411
Confirm valid insurance certificates
Check safety ratings and inspection history
Process carrier packets through MyCarrierPackets
Maintain compliance records

Load Tracking

Monitor active loads via tracking systems and carrier check calls
Identify delays and escalate issues proactively
Communicate status updates to partners and customers

Documentation

Verify rate confirmations, BOLs, and PODs
Ensure load paperwork is complete before invoicing
Maintain organized digital records

Issue Resolution

Assist with cargo claims and disputes
Coordinate with carriers on accessorial charges
Document i ---------- and resolutions


REQUIREMENTS

1-2+ years in freight brokerage, logistics, or carrier operations
Familiarity with FMCSA, carrier insurance, and compliance requirements
Experience with carrier vetting tools (Carrier411 or similar)
Strong attention to detail
Excellent English communication
Available to overlap with US business hours

Preferred:

TMS experience (Aljex or similar)
Load board experience (Truckstop, DAT)
Tracking platform experience (MacroPoint or similar)
