Shopify Store Manager & Developer (Remote – Part-Time or Freelance)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shopify Store Manager & Developer to take full ownership of our Shopify storefront : from setup and design to ongoing updates, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows Shopify inside out and can work independently to keep everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and fully configure our Shopify store from the ground up

- Customize themes and layouts for a clean, high-performing user experience

- Ensure the store remains mobile-friendly, fast, and fully functional

- Integrate apps for SEO, reviews, shipping, upselling, marketing, etc.

- Monitor and resolve technical or performance issues proactively

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Shopify

- Proven track record with at least 10 recent, professionally developed Shopify stores

- Advanced knowledge of Shopify themes (including Shopify 2.0), Liquid code, and third-party app integrations

- Strong sense of design, layout, and user experience

- Confident troubleshooting bugs and improving store performance

- Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Bonus Skills:

Experience working with Australian e-commerce businesses

Graphic editing skills (Canva, Figma, Photoshop)

Familiarity with Klaviyo, Meta Pixel, and analytics setup

Experience with SEO basics and e-commerce growth strategies

Work Details:

Remote position

Flexible part ---------- basis (with potential for more hours)

Must be responsive and available for regular check-ins

Ideally some overlap with Australian business hours
