Video Editor

Hiring a 2nd full-time video editor for my editing team. Our content is mostly food and drinks from restaurants, hotels / resorts, drone tours of inside businesses, event videos and more.

We shoot on the following cameras:
- iPhone 16 Pro Max in 1080p
- Sony a7s3 in 4K
- DJI Avata 2 (FPV Drone) in 4K

The ideal person is someone who...
- edits fluently using Adobe Premiere CC and DaVinci Resolve.
- has memorized some keyboard shortcuts in the above programs.
- knows how to color grade using DaVinci Resolve.
- knows how to learn new programs
- knows how to edit with energy, fun pace matching music, bad ass transitions, and more using Premiere.
- also is a pro at Google Workspace (Gmail, Chat, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Meet and more).
- knows how to communicate clearly and quickly.
- has a positive attitude and finds ways to make things look different.

Overview:
I've been a self-taught video editor since 2009 so I understand how challenging and time consuming video editing can be. I want and need someone who is experienced and will send me videos with minimal revisions requests before sending to the next step. This person needs to be self sufficient, independent and easy to communicate with. If you have an issue, please reach out. If you can't find something but it can be found online, ask Chat GPT or Google or YouTube for an answer or tutorial. We want FUN videos!!

Compensation:
Pay depends on experience. Bonuses available.
Payday is every Thursday via Wise.

Schedule:
There is no official schedule, but I ask that you always turn work in early or on-time following the Instructions Google Doc. If you want to work at night or on the weekends, that's up to you. But I will say, I work Monday - Friday and take weekends off unless it's something I can't say no to. So I suggest taking weekends off to clear and reset your mind so you can start at 100% on Monday.

Communication is vital:
We have a Senior Video Editor who's been with us for over a year so he's your main point of contact, then me regarding work duties. Talk to me about vacation time, payment, work issues, complaints, etc.
