Virtual Assistant - Social Media, Video Editing & Course Support

We are a fast-growing beauty business that offers online courses to aspiring beauty professionals. Our goal is to empower women to start and scale their own beauty businesses while building confidence, freedom, and success.

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and organised Virtual Assistant to support with social media, course uploads, student check-ins, content editing, and community engagement. This role starts short-term but may become long-term for the right candidate.

Your Main Responsibilities

???? Student Communication & Support
• Check in with past students regularly through DM/email
• Provide warm support + ensure they feel guided and valued
• Track progress and flag anyone needing additional help

???? Content Creation (Canva)
• Create Canva graphics for Instagram feed posts + stories
• Maintain brand colours, fonts, and visual style
• Assist with promotional graphics for launches + courses

???? Video Editing
• Edit videos for TikTok/Reels with and without voiceovers
• Add captions, music, transitions + text overlays
• Repurpose content into shorter clips when needed

???? Course Graphics + Uploading (Thinkific)
• Assist in building course layout, modules + visual elements
• Upload training content, worksheets, videos + lessons
• Ensure everything stays neatly organised + brand aligned

???? Instagram Growth + DMs
• DM every new follower with a welcome message
• Answer basic enquiries using pre-made scripts
• Build genuine conversations + nurture potential buyers

????? Additional Marketing Tasks May Include:
• Email support
• Basic admin duties
• Simple customer service responses

Hours & Commitment

• Short-term to start
• May become long-term depending on performance
• Hour range: 10-20hrs per week (may vary)

Skills Needed
• Canva — content creation, graphic layout, course graphics
• Social media familiarity (Instagram + TikTok)
• Video editing basics to intermediate
• Experience with online course uploading (Thinkific)
• Customer service skills + friendly communication
• Experince with Flodesk, Google Suite, Excel, shopify, many chat, chat gpt, capcut, imovie, thinkific (preferred but not required - mainly needs experience with shopify, thinkific, canva, capcut)
