Online Chat Salesperson

This is NOT a DATA-ENTRY or CUSTOMER SUPPORT position. We are looking for AGGRESSIVE candidates.


Job description:

Selling to and upselling over online chat to people who have indicated interest in the product. This is a SALES position, NOT a CUSTOMER SUPPORT position. We are looking for COMPETITIVE, DRIVEN, and HUNGRY candidates. Our standards are HIGH. You will work as a part of a TEAM, but you are responsible for YOUR OWN SUCCESS. The ideal candidate is between the ages of 18-25 and has ENERGY and AMBITION.


Compensation:

You will be paid hourly and in commission if your commission exceeds your hourly. After your trial period you will be expected to consistently exceed your hourly. If you are unable to meet the daily sales target after the trial period, you will be let go. You will be expected to make enough sales to AT LEAST earn $40 per shift. With skill and motivation a salesperson can exceed this amount multiple times over.


Hard Requirements:

- Adequate internet connection
- Adequate PC setup
- EXCELLENT written and GOOD spoken English
- SPEED. You may be juggling 10 or more chats at the same time and each requires your full attention to EARN
- WORK ETHIC: You will be expected to stay focused and active for the entire duration of your shift
Everything else can be taught.


Nice to have:

- Understanding of modern internet culture/ ---------- s
- Exposure to video games and other media from the US
- Charisma
- Post-secondary education (we'll accept it as an indicator of competence as long as you can provide us with the diploma)

This is NOT an easy job, but it can be VERY LUCRATIVE with talent and especially hard work.
