Data Engineer for Amazon ETL Pipeline

About the Project:

We need an experienced data engineer to build a production-ready ETL pipeline for our Amazon SaaS platform. This is a fixed-price project to set up scalable data infrastructure. (We can consider ongoing support after the successful completion of this project)

The Problem We're Solving:

We need reliable data infrastructure for our SaaS application. Currently experiencing inconsistent syncing and we need someone who has actually built this before - not someone who will "figure it out."

What You'll Build:
Core ETL infrastructure for multi-tenant Amazon data:

- SP-API connector (inventory, orders, sales reports)
- Amazon Advertising API connector (campaigns, keywords, metrics)
- Marketing Stream configuration with Firehose
- S3 data lake with proper partitioning (by date/profile/account)
- Lambda functions for data cleaning and transformation
- SQS queue coordination
- Documentation for integration with our Postgres/Supabase setup

You Must Have:

- Built ETL pipelines specifically for Amazon SP-API and Advertising API (required - no learning on the job)
- Production experience with AWS serverless architecture: S3, Lambda, Firehose, SQS, CloudWatch
- Built multi-tenant systems with data partitioning/sharding
- Dealt with Amazon API throttling limits, rate limiting, and data consistency issues
- Python expertise for Lambda functions

You Should Be:

- Comfortable with AI-assisted coding (Cursor, Claude, etc.) to move fast
- Available to dedicate focused time for duration of project
- Able to deliver fixed-scope project, not hourly ongoing work

What We Already Have:

- Postgres/Supabase database working
- Marketing Stream partially configured
- Authorization flows functioning
- Frontend application built

You're NOT building the app - just the data pipeline infrastructure.
