Beginner Short-Form Video Editor (Social Media)

We’re looking for a beginner short-form video editor to help us turn raw footage into simple vertical clips for social media (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).

This is a Tier 1 / beginner role – no crazy VFX or advanced motion. We care about speed, clean cuts, basic captions, and following directions.

What you’ll do:
• Take raw vertical footage and build simple 5–15s clips
• Add basic captions/subtitles (legible, on-beat)
• Add music we provide and keep audio levels clean
• Export vertical 9:16 videos ready for upload
• Follow naming and folder structures in Google Drive

Tools:
• Prefer CapCut or DaVinci Resolve
• Good internet for downloading/uploading footage

Paid Trial Structure:
• Rate: $10/hour (non-negotiable for trial)
• Hard cap: 2 hours total for the first test
• We give you a folder with multiple clips ? you create as many simple 5–15s variants as you can within the 2-hour cap
• We review your speed, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions
• If you pass, we continue with ongoing work (more hours and/or price-per-edit for simple repeatable formats).

Important:
• You must respect the time cap (no logging extra without approval).
• We want consistent, reliable editors we can grow with.
