Deal Site Assistant

Job Overview:
Looking for a part-time, entry-level assistant to help keep our deal site, Knockdown, updated, organized, and accurate each day. You’ll follow clear guidelines on what qualifies as a good deal and use our approved list of retailers and sources to find them. The role focuses on adding new deals, reviewing existing ones, and making sure everything on the site remains current, reliable, and high-quality.

Daily Tasks:
- Find 50 new deals each day from retailers like Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc.
- Verify deals by checking price accuracy, discount amounts, product reviews, and stock availability.
- Upload deals into our system with the correct title, price, discount, image, link, and category.
- Review existing deals on the site to make sure links work, prices are accurate, products are in stock, and discounts are still valid
- Remove or update deals that are expired, incorrect, out of stock, or no longer active.
- Keep our priority categories and subcategories consistently stocked with a healthy number of fresh deals.
- Maintain a clean, accurate, high-quality feed of deals across the entire site.
- Use simple spreadsheets to organize deals, prep bulk uploads, and help streamline the workflow.
- Make small adjustments to categories or counts as needed to keep the site balanced and up to date

Skills Needed:
- Strong attention to detail
- Good English reading comprehension
- Solid web research skills
- Ability to verify information accurately
- Comfortable with repetitive, daily tasks
- Reliable, consistent, and able to work independently
- Basic familiarity with ecommerce, deals, or data entry is a plus (but not required)
