About the Role
I’m looking for a highly motivated, skilled Virtual Assistant to help grow my personal brand and new business pipeline.
This role is not for Blackburn Media.
You’ll be working directly with me to:
- Grow my online audience
- Build relationships with business owners
- Set meetings and follow up with potential clients
- Edit short-form content and post on all major platforms
If you’re organized, creative, comfortable on the phone, and great at content — this is your perfect job.
1. Social Media & Video Editing (50% of the role)
Short-Form Video Editing
- Edit videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts
- Add captions, jump cuts, transitions, and clean formatting
- Take long clips and break them into multiple short videos
- Maintain a consistent look, tone, and brand
- Follow trends and suggest new content ideas
- Social Media Posting & Management
Schedule and post across:
Instagram
TikTok
Facebook
LinkedIn
Write simple, clean captions
Use hashtags effectively
Track performance weekly
Keep content and ideas neatly organized
Help recommend posting frequency (likely 3–5 times/week)
Content Planning
Suggest weekly content ideas
Pull inspiration from sales/marketing creators
Help create scripts based on bullet points I provide
2. Cold Calling, Lead Generation & Appointment Setting (50% of the role)
- Cold Calling
- Call local businesses (scripts provided)
- Ask for the business owner or decision-maker
- Introduce my personal brand & services
- Qualify interest
Book meetings directly into my calendar
- Lead Generation
- Find contact info, websites, and social profiles
- Enter leads into a clean tracking sheet
Follow up on warm leads from:
- Book consultations
- Confir
Ideal Candidate
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Confident making calls
- Experience with appointment setting or cold calling
- Strong short-form video editing skills
- Social media savvy (IG, TikTok, FB, LinkedIn)

Schedule
4 hours per day
Monday–Friday
Flexible hours (some overlap with Canadian Eastern Time preferred)
