Estimator + Project Manager (CIVIL ENGINEER)

We are a Florida-based construction company specializing in electrical systems, traffic signals, and roadway infrastructure.

We are looking for a Civil Engineer to lead estimation, planning, and supervision of civil works for infrastructure projects, including pole foundations, excavation, trenching, concrete placement, site restoration, and roadway works. This role combines estimating and project execution, ensuring technical accuracy, cost control, and compliance in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare cost estimates, scopes of work, and quantity takeoffs.
-Plan and oversee civil activities, permitting, and inspections.
-Monitor budgets, schedules, and compliance with FDOT, AASHTO, ASTM, ACI standards.
-Coordinate with electrical engineers and cross-disciplinary teams.
-Define and report on KPIs such as accuracy, budget variance, milestone completion.
-Support subcontractor evaluation and stakeholder communication.
-Recommend process and tool improvements.



Qualifications
-Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (PE license preferred).
-At least 2 years experience with infrastructure/utility projects, excavation, concrete, and foundations.
-Skilled in Project Management tools (MS PROJECT and PRIMAVERA P6 (important)), AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, and Excel.
-Strong organizational and communication skills; proven ability to work independently.
Advanced English (written and spoken).
