About the Role:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized Full-Charge Bookkeeper to oversee the financial records and administrative operations of our restaurant. This role will handle the full accounting cycle—excluding payroll—ensuring all transactions, receipts, and vendor accounts are accurately maintained. The ideal candidate is highly organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.


Key Responsibilities

1. Bookkeeping & Accounting
2. Manage day-to-day accounting, including accounts payable and receivable.
3. Record and reconcile daily sales, credit card batches, and cash deposits.
4. Track and categorize expenses, ensuring all receipts are properly filed and coded.
5. Maintain accurate records of vendor invoices, bills, and payments.
6. Perform weekly and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
7. Generate monthly financial reports (profit & loss, balance sheet, etc.).
8. Assist in month-end and year-end closing.
9. Collaborate with external accountants for tax filing and financial review.
10. Administrative Support
11. Maintain organized digital and physical records for receipts, invoices, and statements.
12. Communicate with vendors regarding billing discrepancies or payment status.
13. Manage purchasing records and monitor inventory invoices.
14. Support management with budgeting and cost control tracking.
15. Assist with office organization, filing systems, and financial documentation.

Qualifications

1. 3+ years of bookkeeping experience (restaurant or hospitality industry preferred).
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliations.
3. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (or similar accounting software).
4. Excellent Excel and documentation skills.
5. Strong organizational and communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
7. High attention to detail and accuracy.

Schedule & Compensation

1. Full-time or part-time position (depending on company need).
2. Monday–Friday schedule, with occasional flexibility.
3. Compensation based on experience.
