Hi, I’m Stanley Chen, the owner of a growing YouTube channel that has over 400k subscribers, and I’m looking for a skilled and reliable video editor to help me produce high-quality content for my second channel.

About the Role: I’m launching a secondary channel focused on delivering engaging and well-paced videos. I need an editor who can take raw footage and turn it into polished content that matches my style and tone.

Responsibilities

- Edit videos with clean pacing, good rhythm, and viewer retention in mind.
- Add basic motion graphics, subtitles, or effects when needed.

Incorporate background music, SFX, and transitions.

Follow brand style, tone, and visual identity.

Communicate clearly and meet deadlines.

Provide revisions when necessary.

Requirements
- Strong English proficiency (for communication, script comprehension, and caption accuracy)
- Proven experience with video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
- Ability to work with deadlines and provide consistent quality
- Strong sense of storytelling and pacing
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Access to a strong computer and a stable internet connection

Nice to Have;
- Experience editing YouTube-style videos
- Knowledge of YouTube retention strategies
- Ability to add animations or simple motion graphics
