Job Title: NDIS Compliance Officer (VA)
Reports to: Service Delivery Manager
Location: Remote (Philippines)
Employment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (depending on experience)

We are looking for an NDIS Compliance Officer who will play a vital role in safeguarding our business through effective compliance monitoring, internal auditing, and documentation management.
Role Overview
The NDIS Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that SNL Support Services operates in accordance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements and internal policies. This role will focus on developing and maintaining compliance documentation, conducting internal audits, identifying risks, and supporting continuous improvement across the business.
The role may start as part-time and progress to full-time depending on performance and business needs. Over time, the position will also involve drafting and refining organizational documents, such as policies, procedures, and templates.
Responsibilities
? Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards standards.
? Develop, review, and maintain company policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
? Create and update risk assessments, incident reports, and support plans in line with NDIS requirements.
? Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
? Support management in preparing for external NDIS audits and reviews.
? Ensure all staff adhere to safeguarding and quality assurance practices.
? Assist in training and awareness activities related to compliance and safeguarding.
? Maintain organized and accurate compliance records.
? Stay updated on NDIS and regulatory changes, recommending updates as necessary.
Qualifications
? At least 1-2 years’ experience in compliance, quality assurance, or auditing, preferably within the NDIS, disability, or community services sector.
? Strong understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators.
? Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and documentation skills.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Proficiency in Google Workspace and document management systems.
? Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience supporting or conducting NDIS audits.
? Background in policy development, risk management, or safeguarding.
? Familiarity with NDIS Commission reporting and compliance tools.
