Experienced Product UI/UX Designer

Summary
We’ve built an MVP of a Personal & Business Finance Platform using Lovable.dev (Next.js frontend). The platform includes modules for budgeting, goals, transactions, reporting, business analytics, and more.

We’re seeking a highly experienced product designer to refine the end-to-end UI/UX, improve dashboards, polish user flows, and prepare the product for beta launch.

UI/UX Design & User Flows

1. Evaluate the existing MVP UX and propose improvements to navigation, dashboard structure, and user experience.
2. Redesign or refine:
- Budgeting screens
- Goals & savings module
- Loan/mortgage analyzer
- Transactions dashboard
- Business finance dashboard (P&L, inventory, etc.)
3. Improve onboarding flow: sign-up, workspace setup, account linking.

Visual Design
1. Produce polished, modern UI designs in Figma.
2. Enhance color palettes, typography, spacing, hierarchy, and consistency.
3. Improve responsiveness (mobile, tablet, desktop layouts).
4. Design components compatible with Tailwind + shadcn/ui patterns.

Design System & Components
1. Build or refine a lightweight design system:
2. Buttons, inputs, modals, tables
3. Charts, cards, panels
4. Navigation, breadcrumbs, dropdowns
5. Document the system for engineers.

Collaboration
1. Work closely with the full-stack engineer to ensure designs are feasible.
2. Provide developer-ready designs and clickable prototypes.
3. Participate in weekly reviews and iterations.

1. 5+ years UI/UX or product design experience.
2. Strong fintech or SaaS dashboard design portfolio.
3. Expertise in Figma (prototyping, components, auto-layout).
4. Experience designing for Next.js/Tailwind environments.
5. Excellent understanding of design for financial data (tables, charts, budgets).
6. Able to convert complex financial logic into clean, intuitive UX.
Strong communication and fast iteration ability (tight deadlines).

1. Experience designing for finance/budgeting/investing platforms.
2. Familiarity with reporting dashboards and data visualization libraries.
3. Light knowledge of Supabase, Stripe, or Plaid (for context).

Full UX audit + improvement plan.
Redesigned screens for main modules.
New user onboarding designs to platform
Product assets for marketing
Final Figma files with responsive layouts & design system.
Developer handoff documentation.
