We’re looking for a performance-driven video editor who lives and breathes Meta ads. Someone who understands direct-response psychology, CTR optimization, Andromeda-safe creative separation, and how to turn raw UGC into scroll-stopping 9:16 assets that actually convert.
You’ll be editing for one of the fastest-growing sleep and wellness brands online, working directly with the founder. Expect fast iteration, fast feedback loops, and a constant pipeline of new creative to build, test, and scale.
What You’ll Work On
• Editing Meta-optimized short-form videos (9:16 + 4:5) for conversion campaigns
• Building Andromeda-safe variations (unique first 3 seconds, distinct setups)
• Cutting UGC iPhone content into direct-response ads
• Adding clean captions, kinetic text, subtle animations, and branded elements
• Implementing hooks, L-cuts/J-cuts, match cuts, and scroll-stopping pattern interrupts
• Creating 10–20 creative variations per week (volume + variety)
• Collaborating on scripts, hooks, angles, and ad storyboards
• Preparing assets for paid ads
• Occasionally making static images, GIFs, and thumbnails
Must Have
• Proven experience editing Meta ads for ecommerce brands
• Deep knowledge of direct-response editing, hooks, retention, and pacing
• Understands Meta’s Andromeda update (creative similarity, unique 0:03 rules)
• Fluent with UGC-style editing and iPhone-native visuals
• Can add clean, minimal captions that feel native (not loud, not spammy)
• Fast turnaround, daily and weekly deliverables
• Strong communication and ability to take direction
• Portfolio of Meta ads specifically (not just TikTok edits)
Bonus Skills
• Motion graphics & simple VFX
• Understanding CRO, landing pages, and ad-to-page congruence
• Experience cutting for different personas and psychological triggers
• Basic sound design and audio cleanup
• Experience with CapCut, Premiere, FCP, or DaVinci
