JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Freelance Social Media Manager & Video Editor to join 100k Fathers. The role will begin with a focus on editing video call and podcast recordings into quality content for our private community, as well as creating and posting short clips and reels for social media. *Be sure to read this entire description before applying!

Your work will help ensure that fathers who feel isolated or hopeless can discover our message, recognize themselves in our content, and find the guidance they’ve been searching for. Beyond content creation, this role includes light administrative support, research, and collaboration with the founder to drive the continued growth and visibility of the organization.

This is a flexible freelance opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, creative, and motivated to use their skills for meaningful impact - helping fathers find a path forward.

About 100k Fathers

100k Fathers is a mission-driven coaching and community platform that supports fathers who have lost contact with their children, often due to high-conflict separations. We provide guidance, programs, and a strong community to help fathers prepare for reunification, grow personally, and find strength through connection. Our work has already touched the lives of hundreds of fathers, and we are expanding our reach to continue making a powerful impact.

Responsibilities

- Edit video call recordings, use ai to create show notes and upload them to our private community platform.
- Develop and maintain a social media content calendar.
- Repurpose existing long-form content to create short video clips and reels optimized for social media platforms.
- Collaborate with the founder to identify key themes, quotes, and ---------- nts from recorded sessions that reflect the mission and tone of 100k Fathers.
- Organize and archive video assets systematically
- General administrative tasks to support the growth of the community and programs.

Position Requirements

- Strong communication in English (both written & verbal)
- Strong skills in video editing
- Comfortable learning new platforms specific to our organization including standard tools (Google docs, Slack etc).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow processes while also suggesting improvements
