JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a full-time VA to help manage technical aspects of the LifeAfterCollege.org entity. Specifically, we are looking for someone to work with Jenny Blake & Emily Smith to manage and execute technical tasks with Life After College (LAC), Design Your Life (DYL), and Make Sh*t Happen (MSH).

Job Responsibilities:

Send daily summary of tasks accomplished & hours worked each day to Jenny Blake & Emily Smith
Check, respond, and communicate with DYL & MSH participants on weekly course forums
Create monthly business report, aggregating key metrics from various sites used by Life After College
Maintain tracking spreadsheet for new course enrollees
Transcribe call recordings
Publish pre-written blog posts, send corresponding tweets
Help manage LAC Facebook page by posting pre-written questions 1-2x/week
Make/process small updates to courses or website
Take online courses and provide summaries of key ideas
Help format documents and find corresponding photos
Handle invoicing for speaking, coaching clients
(We will provide clear instructions on all of the above)

Skills & Technical Requirements:
-----------------------------------------------
Rapid response time; work hours based in eastern time zone
All work is computer/internet-based: must have “fast Internet” speed and 24/7 access to computer and Internet
Required Language Skills: Must be fluent in writing, reading, and speaking English.
Is able to manage multiple tasks at one time
Strong communication: is able to meet deadlines and communicate clearly if a deadline will not be met
Skilled in managing online technical systems (WordPress, Google Documents, Gmail, MailChimp/Aweber) -- strongly preferred, though willingness to learn OK:
Committed to working full-time (40 hours / week) and to working exclusively for Life After College (does not take on multiple clients or jobs)
Must be over 18 years old.
