About the Role
We are looking for experienced and qualified CPAs based in the Philippines who are currently working remotely for Australian accounting firms. This role is ideal for professionals who are already familiar with Australian accounting standards, compliance requirements, and software platforms.
You’ll be working with a dynamic Australian accounting team, providing accounting, bookkeeping, and compliance services for a range of SME clients.
Responsibilities
Preparation of financial statements, BAS, and tax returns (individual, partnership, company, and trust)
Bookkeeping and reconciliation using Xero and/or MYOB
Payroll processing and superannuation lodgments
Liaising with Australian accountants and clients as needed
Ensuring compliance with ATO requirements and Australian accounting standards
Qualifications
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines
Currently working for an Australian accounting firm (remote) – this is a strict requirement
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (at least 1 year with an Australian firm)
Proficient in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar software
Strong understanding of Australian taxation and compliance requirements
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office setup
