Video Editor (Ecommerce Ads & VSLs)

I run an ecommerce brand and I am looking for a talented video editor who can create high-converting TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram ads, as well as video sales letters (VSLs). You’ll be working with our marketing team to produce videos that sell — fast-paced, engaging, and optimized for conversions.

Responsibilities:

Edit short-form video ads that will be used for TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram ads.

Create direct-response style VSLs using scripts and raw content provided (even better if you are creative and can source the content/angles/scripts yourself).

Add captions, effects, and motion text to increase engagement

Edit UGC-style videos with strong hooks and storytelling

Collaborate with me to test new creative angles and variations

(Bonus) Source your own clips or UGC when needed

Requirements:

Proven experience editing ads for ecommerce or DTC brands (experience is not needed but is a plus!)

Strong understanding of social media ad styles and trends

Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Capcut, or similar tools

Fast turnaround time and attention to detail

Comfortable working with performance-based feedback
